Dr Reddys to raise funds through issue of warrants

Dr Reddys Laboratories Ltd has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on January 25, 2008, inter alia, has considered and approved raise of further equity by way of preferential issue of share warrants up to 5% of the existing equity of the Company exercisable into equal number of equity shares of Rs 5/- each to the Promoters / Promoter Group as per "Guidelines on Preferential Issues" under Chapter XIII of the SEBI (DIP) Guidelines, 2000, subject to the shareholders approval.
