Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services Ltd has announced that a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company will be held on January 18, 2008, inter alia, to consider a proposal from prospective investor(s) for private placement of Equity shares by way of preferential issue at a price of to be determined in conformity with the terms of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Disclosure and Investor Protection) Guidelines, 2000.
