PTC India to raise funds through issue of shares at Rs 155

PTC India Ltd has announced that the Company has decided to issue upto 77419000 equity shares of Rs 10 each at the issue price of Rs 155 per equity share aggregating to an issue size of upto Rs 11,999,945,000/- in terms of Chapter XIII-A of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Disclosure and Investor Protection) Guidelines, 2000 as amended. The bid closing date was January 10, 2008 and the settlement date for the issue is expected to be January 18, 2008. The issue price is above the floor price calculated in accordance with Clause XIII A.3 of the SEBI DIP Guidelines. ABN AMRO Securities (India) Pvt Ltd and Kotak Mahindra Capital Company Ltd acted as Book Running Lead Managers for the issue.

The stock was trading at Rs.154.45, up by Rs.3.25 or 2.15%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.159.90 and low of Rs.151.

The total traded quantity was 476894 compared to 2 week average of 2077359.
