LKP Merchant to issue 10 Lakh warrants

LKP Merchant Financing Ltd has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on January 09, 2008, inter alia, has approved the Issue of upto 10,00,000 equity warrants carrying entitlement / option to apply for equal number of equity shares of Rs 10/- each, fully paid-up at a price not below Rs 194/- on preferential basis to entities belonging to the promoter group, in accordance with Chapter XIII of Securities and Exchange Board of India (Disclosure and Investor Protection) Guidelines, 2000.

The company will convene an Extraordinary General Meeting of the members of the Company on February 04, 2008.

The stock was trading at Rs.216, down by Rs.0.85 or 0.39%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.221.90 and low of Rs.208.50.

The total traded quantity was 29358 compared to 2 week average of 51574.
