Assam Company allots 81000000 equity shares

Assam Company Ltd has announced that the Company has allotted 81,000,000 Equity shares of Re 1/- each on conversion of Share Warrants issued on June 24, 2006, against receipt of payment advice of the balance amount of Rs 169.29 Lacs.

The Company in terms of the resolution passed on December 24, 2007 has issued and allotted 81,000,000 shares of Re 1/- each at a premium of Rs 22.25 each to the following allottees:

1. Invest-India (Mauritius) Ltd, Port Louis, Mauritius: 27,000,000 no of equity shares
2. Lotus Global Investments Ltd, Port Louis, Mauritius: 27,000,000 no of equity shares
3. Mavi Investment Fund Ltd, Port Louis, Mauritius: 27,000,000 no of equity shares.
