Escorts to allot 744681 equity shares

Escorts Ltd has announced that the Share Allotment Committee of Directors of the Company at its meeting held December 12, 2007, has allotted 7,44,681 equity shares in the name of members of Hardship Committee constituted by High Court Delhi vide its order dated October 19, 2006, in compliance of the order passed by Hon'able High Court Delhi on December 05, 2007 u/s 391 of the Companies Act 1956 in respect of Company application of Scheme of Arrangement and Compromise between the Company and its members and Escorts Finance Ltd and its Fixed Deposit Holders.
