L&T allots underlying shares for GDS

Larsen & Toubro Ltd (L&T) has announced that the Committee of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on November 13, 2007, has allotted 4,000,000 equity shares of nominal value of Rs 2 per share as underlying shares representing 4,000,000 Global Depository Shares (GDS) represented by Global Depository Receipts, each GDS representing 1 (One) equity share, prices at US$ 100 per GDS and aggregating US$ 400 million.

Lehman Brothers International (Europe) and UBS Ltd acted as the Joint Global Coordinators & Joint Bookrunners for the offering.
