Tata Tea to raise Rs 325 Crores through issue of NCD

Tata Tea Ltd has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on October 29, 2007, inter alia, has approved issue on private placement basis of non-convertible debentures (secured) of Rs 325 crores through book building process. The debentures will be issued in dematerialized form and will be listed in the Wholesale Debt Market Segment of National Stock Exchange of India Ltd. The debenture will have a denomination of Rs 10 lakhs.
