Prudential Sugar AGM approves issue of preference shares to IFCI

Prudential Sugar Corporation Ltd has announced that the members at the 15th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Company held on September 28, 2006, inter alia, have unanimously approved the issue of 400000 6% Cumulative Redeemable Preference Shares of Rs 50/- each amounting to 200 lacs to IFCI Ltd., in compliance of the OTS Agreement entered between IFCI Ltd and the Company.
