TNPL replaces Government Nominee Director

The Government of Tamil Nadu vide G.O. (Rt.). No. 1383 dated 20.04.2017 has nominated Thiru Atulya Misra, IAS, Principal Secretary to Government, Industries Department as Chairman and Dr. R. Selvaraj, IAS as the Managing Director of Tamil Nadu Newsprint and Papers Ltd vice Thiru Vikram Kapur, IAS.

Hence vide the above G.O., Thiru Vikram Kapur, IAS ceases to be the Director of the Company and also the Chairman and Managing Director with effect from 20.4.2017.

Shares of TAMIL NADU NEWSPRINT & PAPERS LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.303.1 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 304.9. The total number of shares traded during the day was 9235 in over 245 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 308.5 and intraday low of 302.55. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 2812045.
