Shriram Transport to issue shares

Shriram Transport Finance Company Ltd has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on October 25, 2007, inter alia, has approved the issue of Further Capital of 30,000,000 Shares by way of shares / warrants ADR / GDR and / or by way of QIP (Qualified Institutional Placements) or Preferential Allotment basis as per SEBI (DIP) Guidelines, 2000.
