South Indian Bank approves allotment of 450,708,052 Equity Shares of Re.1/- each pursuant to rights issue

The Capital Planning & Infusion Committee of the Board of South Indian Bank by a resolution passed today has allotted 450,708,052 Equity Shares of face value Re.1/- each pursuant to Rights Issue of shares of the Bank.

Post the above allotment, the paid-up Equity share capital of the Bank would stand at Rs. 180,28,35,959 consisting of 180,28,35,959 Equity shares of Re.1/- each.

Shares of SOUTH INDIAN BANK LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.20.2 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 20.35. The total number of shares traded during the day was 399706 in over 392 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 20.45 and intraday low of 20.1. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 8100149.
