Escorts Allots 36,11,610 Equity Shares

Escorts Ltd has announced that on March 31, 2006, 36,11,610 Share warrants were issued to Har Parsad & Company Pvt Ltd, a promoter's group Company. The said warrants were convertible into Equity Shares in the proportion of one Equity share against each warrant.

Further the Company has informed that, the Allotment Committee of Directors has now converted the said warrants into fully paid Equity Shares of Rs 10/- each and consequently the Equity Share Capital of the Company has increased to Rs 83,69,36,300/-.
