Allahabad Bank allots 4230226 Equity Shares on Preferential basis to Government of India

Allahabad Bank has issued and allotted 42,30,226 (Forty two lac thirty thousand two hundred twenty six) new equity shares of face value of Rs. 10.00 (Rupees ten only) of the Bank on preferential basis to Government of India (President of India) on October 17, 2016 for cash at an issue price of Rs. 78.01 (Rupees seventy eight and paise one only) per equity share including a premium of Rs. 68.01 (Rupees sixty eight and paise one only) per equity share.

Shares of ALLAHABAD BANK was last trading in BSE at Rs.75.15 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 73.3. The total number of shares traded during the day was 344428 in over 1152 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 75.45 and intraday low of 73.4. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 25742351.
