Maharashtra Seamless to allot shares to Mr.Raghav Jindal

Maharashtra Seamless Ltd has announced that a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company will be held on September 28, 2007, inter alia, to consider allotment of one equity share of Rs 5/- each to Mr. Raghav Jindal belonging to "Promoter & Promoter Group" on preferential basis and fixation, of record date for sub-division of equity share of Company from Rs 5/- each to Rs 2/- each.

However, the aforesaid agenda items will be considered by the Board after obtaining approval of the shareholders at the ensuing Annual General Meeting to be held on September 28, 2007.

The stock was trading at Rs.614, up by Rs.7.15 or 1.18%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.620 and low of Rs.611.

The total traded quantity was 16592 compared to 2 week average of 54543.
