HDFC to raise Rs. 500 crores from overseas investors through Rupee Denominated Bonds

Pursuant to the approval of the Board of Directors of Housing Development Finance Corporation Ltd at its meetings held previously, the Corporation is contemplating, subject to market conditions, undertaking an issuance of Rupee Denominated Bonds to overseas investors.

The Issue Size will be up to Rs. 500 Crore and the issue opening date is August 31, 2016.

The issue closing / pricing date will be September 1, 2016 and the bonds will be listed at the London Stock Exchange.

The pricing and the tenure of the bonds to be issued pursuant to the said issue will be announced later.

Shares of HOUSING DEVELOPMENT FINANCE CORP.LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.1438 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 1421.9. The total number of shares traded during the day was 618244 in over 3484 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 1441.6 and intraday low of 1421. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 888564424.
