Edelweiss Finance & Investments Ltd approves raising of Rs. 4000 crores

The Board of Directors of Edelweiss Finance & Investments Ltd at its meeting held on January 19, 2016, has, subject to receipt of necessary approvals, if any, approved the issue of Non-convertible Debentures (NCDs) on private placement basis for an amount not exceeding Rs. 4,000 crores, in one or more tranches.

Shares of Edelweiss Financial Services Ltd. was last trading in BSE at Rs.49.5 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 50.25. The total number of shares traded during the day was 39042 in over 460 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 51.5 and intraday low of 49.5. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 1961813.
