IDBI Bank Ltd receives Rs. 2229 crore from GoI towards Preferential Allotment of Equity Shares

In terms of Government of India's (GoI) approval Notification dated December 28, 2015 sanctioning release of Rs. 2228,99,99,982.40/- towards GoI's contribution in the Preferential Allotment of 29,60,94,580 Equity Shares of Rs. 10 each at a price of Rs. 75.28 per share, approved by Bank's EGM held on November 04, 2015, the aforesaid amount has been received in the Account of IDBI Bank on December 29, 2015.

Shares of IDBI BANK LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.89.8 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 90.2. The total number of shares traded during the day was 381632 in over 1811 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 90.55 and intraday low of 89.25. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 34267892.
