Bank of India allots 127004655 Equity Shares

Bank of India has allotted 12,70,04,655 Equity Shares to the Government of India on September 30, 2015. Consequently, Shareholding of the Government of India has increased from 64.43% to 70.13% and correspondingly, the Non-Government Shareholding has decreased from 35.57% to 29.87%.

Further the Company has informed that Shri. D Harish, Shareholder's Director of the Bank, demitted the office, with effect from September 30, 2015, in order to comply with the provisions of Section 9 (3) (i) of the Banking Companies (Acquisition and Transfer of Undertakings) Act- 1970.

Shares of BANK OF INDIA was last trading in BSE at Rs.134.45 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 135.55. The total number of shares traded during the day was 366226 in over 3723 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 137.7 and intraday low of 133.6. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 49524153.
