Allahabad Bank allots 29181274 Equity Shares on Preferential basis to Government of India

Allahabad Bank has issued and allotted 2,91,81,274 (Two crore ninety one lac eighty one thousand two hundred seventy four) equity shares of face value of Rs. 10/-(Rupees ten only) each for cash at an Issue Price of Rs. 96.98 (Rupees ninety six and paise ninety eight only) per equity share including a premium of Rs. 86.98 (Rupees eighty six and paise ninety eight only) per equity share on preferential basis to Government of India (President of India).

All the aforesaid new equity shares issued and allotted to Government of India (President of India) are / will be under lock-in for a period of three years from the date of trading approval from all the Stock Exchanges i.e. NSE & BSE where the equity shares of the Bank are listed.

Shares of ALLAHABAD BANK was last trading in BSE at Rs.75.1 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 76.8. The total number of shares traded during the day was 261807 in over 1934 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 77.95 and intraday low of 74.85. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 19830457.
