HDFC allots 27,50,000 equity shares

Housing Development Finance Corporation Ltd (HDFC) has announced that the Allotment Committee of Directors of the Corporation on July 24, 2007, has approved the allotment of 27,50,000 equity shares of Rs 10 each for cash at a price of Rs 1730 per share to Citigroup Strategic Holdings Mauritius Ltd, subject to a lock-in of 18 months from the date of allotment in terms of the special resolution passed by the shareholders at the 30th Annual General Meeting of the Company held on June 27, 2007.
