PVR Ltd calls for EGM on July 10, 2015 to issue shares on preferential basis

The Board of Directors of PVR Ltd at its meeting held on June 12, 2015, approved subject to the approval from the shareholders of the Company, issue of 5,000,000 fully paid Equity Shares of the Company at a price of Rs. 700/- per share inclusive of premium aggregating to Rs. 350 Crores or at a price computed as per SEBI (ICDR) Regulations, 2009, whichever is higher, on preferential issue basis to Plenty Private Equity Fund I Limited (4,119,762 shares), Multiples Private Equity Fund II LLP (447,095 shares) and Plenty Cl Fund I Limited (433,143 shares).

The Board also approved convening of Company's Extra-Ordinary General Meeting on July 10, 2015 for the purpose of seeking approval of the shareholders of the Company inter-alia for the issue of 5,000,000 fully paid Equity Shares on preferential issue basis.

Shares of PVR LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.650 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 649.25. The total number of shares traded during the day was 36189 in over 2154 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 678.2 and intraday low of 639.35. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 23853863.
