Fortis Healthcare Ltd allots 42200 Equity Shares

The Nomination and Remuneration Committee of Fortis Healthcare Ltd has approved allotment of 42,200 Equity Shares of Rs. 10/- each, to grantees, upon exercise of vested stock options, under the "Employee Stock Option Plan 2007" of the Company.

Consequent to the said allotment, the paid-up equity share capital of the Company stands increased to Rs. 4,628,807,940 /- divided into 462,880,794 equity shares of Rs. 10/- each.

Shares of FORTIS HEALTHCARE LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.152.15 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 150.35. The total number of shares traded during the day was 187460 in over 4508 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 153.4 and intraday low of 148.5. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 28378499.
