Canara Bank raises Rs. 1500 crores through issue of Additional Tier - I Bonds

Canara Bank had earlier announced that it is coming out with the issuance of Additional Tier-I Perpetual Bonds) for Rs. 1500 Crore to augment capital resources.

The Issue was opened on February 16, 2015 and closed on March 05, 2015. The Bank has successfully raised Rs. 1500 Crore under BASEL-III Compliant Additional Tier-I Bonds.

Shares of CANARA BANK was last trading in BSE at Rs.423.6 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 418.85. The total number of shares traded during the day was 186394 in over 6657 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 425 and intraday low of 415.4. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 78430288.
