Bank of Baroda updates on Issue of equity shares to Government of India aggregating Rs. 1260 Crores

Bank of Baroda had announced on February 09, 2015 about Government of India's decision to infuse capital to the tune of Rs. 1260/- cr. by issue of equity shares in favour of the Government on preferential basis.

The issue price has been determined in compliance of relevant Regulations of SEBI ICDR Regulations duly certified by the Auditors, which is not being less than Rs.195.59 (Rupees One Hundred Ninety Five and Paise Fifty Nine Only) per equity share of Rs. 2/- each (Rupees Two Only). According Number of Shares proposed to be issued to Government of India on preferential basis will be 6,44,20,471.

Shares of BANK OF BARODA was last trading in BSE at Rs.172.4 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 177.2. The total number of shares traded during the day was 565638 in over 17704 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 177.9 and intraday low of 171.25. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 98351171.
