Kalanithi Maran ceases to be promoter of Spicejet Ltd

Pursuant to the Share Sale and Purchase Agreement dated January 29, 2015 between Spicejet Ltd, Mr. Kalanithi Maran, Kal Airways Private Limited and Mr. Ajay Singh, the entire shareholding of Mr. Kalanithi Maran and Kal Airways Private Limited (the existing Promoters) aggregating to 350,428,758 equity shares (58.46%) has been transferred to Mr. Ajay Singh on February 23, 2015. Consequently, Mr. Ajay Singh has become the Promoter of the Company and Mr. Kalanithi Maran and Kal Airways Private Limited have ceased to be promoters of the Company.

Shares of SPICEJET LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.24.15 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 24. The total number of shares traded during the day was 8919206 in over 14962 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 24.75 and intraday low of 24. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 217851061.
