Havells India to transfer shares held by Founding Chairman to his wife

After the recent demise of Shri Qimat Rai Gupta, the Promoter and founding Chairman of Havells India Limited, his entire shareholding in the Company i.e. 4,76,79,440 Equity Shares of Re. 1/- each (7.63%) shall be transferred to his wife Smt Vinod Gupta, under the mandate given by him.

Shares of HAVELLS INDIA LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.322.25 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 321.3. The total number of shares traded during the day was 96866 in over 3388 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 326.9 and intraday low of 317.2. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 31298439.
