Bharat Electronics Board recommends 140% final dividend

Bharat Electronics Ltd has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on June 27, 2007, inter alia, has recommended a final dividend of 140% (i.e. Rs 14 per equity share of Rs 10/- each) in addition to the Interim Dividend of 40% paid in February 2007.

The company has announced the following Audited results for the year ended March 31, 2007: The Company has posted a Net Profit of Rs 7181.60 million for the year ended March 31, 2007 as compared to Rs 5830.10 million for the year ended March 31, 2006. Total Income has increased from Rs 36548.60 million for the year ended March 31, 2006 to Rs 41490.50 million for the year ended March 31, 2007.
