Rushil Decor Limited is undertaking a technological upgradation at its laminate sheet manufacturing unit located at Mansa, Gujarat.
The Company has decided to discontinue the existing steam boiler system, which was being used for two press machines, and replace it with a Thermic Fluid Heater system which is presently used for third press. The proposed system will cater to the existing presses, including the two presses currently operated through the steam boiler.
This technological transition is expected to result in multiple operational and environmental benefits, including improved fuel efficiency, reduction in water consumption, and enhanced overall plant efficiency. Additionally, the use of the Thermic Fluid Heater is expected to improve the quality and productivity of the final products.
The new system also enables automation through auto-feeding mechanisms in place of the manual feeding system used in the steam boiler, which is anticipated to enhance operational safety and reduce manpower dependency.
It is clarified that the aforesaid technological upgradation and temporary shutdown are in respect of the jumbo size laminated sheet manufacturing unit as well as RHPL laminate sheet manufacturing units at Mansa, Gujarat only. The Company's other two manufacturing units located at Dholakuva and Mansa GIDC, Gujarat will not be impacted and will continue their operations without any interruption.
In order to implement the above changes, the plant will remain temporarily shut down up to approximately April 20, 2026. The estimated loss of sale during this period may be approximately Rs. 4 Crores.
