Godawari Power and Ispat Limited (GPIL) has announced its provisional business updates for the financial year ending March 31, 2026, marking a landmark year of operational excellence. The company achieved its highest-ever production volumes across nearly all its key divisions, spanning iron ore mining to value-added steel products.
According to the filing submitted under SEBI regulations, the company's Iron Ore Mining division led the surge, though specific figures for the current year reflect a strategic scale-up in output. Notable growth was seen in Iron Ore Pellets, which reached 27.49 Lakh Metric Tons, and Sponge Iron (DRI), which climbed to 6.50 Lakh Metric Tons from 5.94 Lakh Metric Tons in the previous fiscal.
While Steel Billet production remained steady at 4.77 Lakh Metric Tons, the company saw incremental gains in finished products like Wire Rods and HB Wires. Additionally, the company's power generation segment contributed significantly to the record-breaking year, producing 86.58 Crore KWH units. Mr. B.L. Agrawal, Chairman-cum-Managing Director, attributed these milestones to the unwavering commitment of employees and stakeholders in achieving consistent operational efficiency.
