Indus Fila bagged prestigious "Emerging India Award" in the "Textile & Apparel" Category

Indus Fila Ltd has announced that the Honorable Prime Minister presented the Award for Excellence and exemplary growth to Mr. Nitin Mandhana, the Vice Chairman & Managing Director at a glittering ceremony organised by CNBC TV18, ICICI & CRISIL at Grand Hyatt, Mumbai on June 22, 2007.

The function was presided over by the Honourable Prime Minister Mr. Manmohan Singh, and others like Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Mr. Vilasrao Deshmukh, ICICI Bank MD & CEO Mr. K V Kamath, CRISIL head & Mr. Raghav from CNBC TV18 etc. were also there to cheer for the Leading Entrepreneurs of India.

ICICI Bank and CNBC-TC 18's awarded this "Emerging India Award 2007", powered by CRISIL to the Company in the "Textile & Apparel" category. It recognizes the indomitable spirit of India SMEs and helps the Company to become even bigger.

The Company was one among the 1,25,378 nominations for this award taken up by ICICI for rating by CRISIL, the best Credit Risk and Rating Agency in India. Out of that, 40 top performers each were short-listed from 12 Industries and after detail survey and analysis of Company's performance and telephonic interviews with the Management, top three were selected and called at Mumbai on the 18th of this month for a presentation to the Jury.

The results were declared on June 22, 2007 and the Company was adjudged as the leader in "Textile & Apparel" Sector amongst the Small & Medium Enterprises of India.
