Capital First allots 1,16,07,145 shares at Rs. 153.80

The Board of Directors of Capital First Ltd vide Circular Resolution dated March 28, 2014 approved the allotment of 1,16,07,145 Equity Shares on Preferential Basis to few allottees.

83,57,145 equity shares of Rs. 10 each at a premium of Rs. 143.80/- per share was allotted to Cloverdell Investment Ltd, an existing promoter of the Company. The aggregate shareholding percentage of Cloverdell Investment Ltd and Dayside Investment Ltd, the existing promoters of the Company, shall remain 72.0%, without any change.

32,50,000 equity shares of Rs. 10 each at a premium of Rs. 143.80/- per share was allotted to HDFC Standard Life Insurance Company Limited, which will be classified as a public shareholder.

Consequently the subscribed and paid-up capital of the Company stands enhanced to 8,26,31,469 equity shares of Rs. 10 each.

The aforesaid allotment is subject to the lock-in requirements as per the SEBI (Issue of Capital am Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2009, as amended from time to time, with regard to the Preferential Issue.

Shares of CAPITAL FIRST LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.170.1 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 169.4. The total number of shares traded during the day was 9817 in over 205 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 172.5 and intraday low of 166.7. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 1678439.
