Syndicate Bank completes Preferential allotment of shares In favour of Government of India

Upon receipt of funds from Government of India, Syndicate Bank has, on January 13, 2014 allotted 2,26,34,676 (Two Crore twenty six lakh thirty four thousand six hundred and seventy six only) equity shares of face value of Rs. 10/- each for cash at a premium of Rs. 78.36 (Rupees Seventy eight and paise thirty six only) determined in accordance with Regulation 76 (1) of SEBI (ICDR) Regulations aggregating to Rs. 199,99,99,971.36 on preferential basis to Government of India.

Shares of Syndicate Bank was last trading in BSE at Rs.95.85, down by Rs.0.85 or 0.88%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.97.85 and intraday low of Rs.95.

The total traded quantity was 2.36 lakh shares as compared to 2 week average of 3.32 lakh shares.
