Canara Bank to raise Rs. 1500 crore of Tier - II Bonds (Series - I)

Canara Bank has announced regarding the powers delegated by the Board of the bank, the Bond Committee, during the course of its meeting held on December 16, 2013, decided to raise additional capital of Rs. 1500 Crore through issue of BASEL-III complaint Tier-II Bonds (Series-I). The Bank is now coming out with the issuance of Tier - II Bonds (Series - I) for Rs. 1500 Crore to augment capital resources.

Shares of Canara Bank was last trading BSE at Rs.282.15, down by Rs.1.65 or 0.58%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.288.60 and intraday low of Rs.280.10.

The total traded quantity was 1.50 lakh shares as compared to 2 week average of 3.33 lakh shares.
