Hindalco Industries Updates on allotment of shares

With reference to the earlier announcement dated April 12, 2007 regarding Allotment of equity shares, Hindalco Industries Ltd has announced that the Committee allotted "361,191" Equity Shares of Rs 1/- (paid up value of Re 0.50 per share) of the Company for entitlement of Rights Shares kept in abeyance due to court matters. The said letter wrongly mentioned "316,191" Equity Shares due to oversight.
