Rasoya Proteins allots 13600000 shares

The Board of Directors of Rasoya Proteins Ltd at its meeting held on March 21, 2012, has made the allotment of 136,00,000 Equity Shares of Rs. 5/- each at a premium of Rs. 13/- per share against conversion request / notice received from the warrant holders, (promoters and persons other than Promoters) to whom the Company has issued and allotted 136,00,000 Share Warrants @ Rs. 18/- per warrant (erstwhile 68,00,000 Warrants of Rs. 36/- per warrant, each share of Rs. 10/- each was split into 2 shares of Rs. 5/- each on June 22, 2011) at the Board Meeting held on November 03, 2010.

Post allotment of the above equity shares, the Paid up capital of the Company has increased from Rs. 46,96,43,900 to Rs. 53,76,43,900. The Company is taking steps to list the said allotment of shares.

The Rasoya Proteins Ltd stock closed the day at Rs.25.90, down by Rs.2.85 or 9.91%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.28.75 and low of Rs.25.90.

The total traded quantity was 0.18 lakhs compared to 2 week average of 0.13 lakhs.
