Installed capacity of NTPC at 27404 MW on commission of 500 MW unit in Bihar

National Thermal Power Corporation Ltd (NTPC) has announced that A 500 MW unit of Kahalgaon Super Thermal Power Project - Stage II of the Company located in the state of Bihar has been successfully test synchronized on March 31, 2007.

With the commissioning of this unit, the installed capacity of Kahalgaon Super Thermal Power Project has become 1340 MW and the total installed capacity of the Company has become 27404 MW.

The stock was trading at Rs.147.5, down by Rs.2.25 or 1.50%. The total traded quantity was 164366 shares on weighted average price of Rs.147.93.
