Som Distilleries seek EGM approval for increase in authorised capital

Som Distilleries & Breweries Ltd has announced that an Extra-Ordinary General Meeting (EGM) of the members of the Company will be held on April 23, 2007, inter alia, to consider increase of authorised capital from Rs 19 crores to Rs 23 Crores and corresponding amendment of Memorandum of Association, issue of further equity shares to a party other then Promoters by issue of warrants in the first instance.

Shares of the company were trading at Rs.17 on volume of 1822 shares compared to 2 week average quantity of 52578 shares. The stock hit an intraday low of Rs.16.55 and high of Rs.17.75.
