Tanla Solutions subsidiary Tanla Mobiles appoints Gerry Drew as Head of Sales

Tanla Solutions Ltd has announced that Tanla Mobile, a specialist in development, mobile billing and delivery has appointed Gerry Drew as Head of Sales. Drew will be heading up Tanla Mobile's sales division tasked with taking advantage of the growing demand by Corporates, FMCG's, Media brands, Broadcast Channels and their partners, for richer applications and interactive services to include social networking and user generated content.
"Gerry has a wealth of experience working at a high level with the media industry, ranging from popular reality TV shows, major print publications and leading radio groups. His appointment reinforces Tanla Mobile's ability to deliver mobile solutions for high-profile brands and capitalise on their increasing demand to generate new and sustainable revenue streams and customer loyalty" commented Gautam Sabharwal, Director, Tanla Mobile.

Prior to joining Tanla Mobile, Drew worked at Opera Telecom where he held a number of positions including Senior VP for the Americas, MD for Spain and Head of Special Projects for the Opera Telecom Group.
Drew joined Opera from O2 where, as Commercial Director he managed several sales divisions responsible for winning and delivering high profile, interactive broadcast business for popular reality TV shows such as I'm a Celebrity, Pop Idol and Big Brother.
