HDFC allots 406425 shares pursuant to exercise of options under ESOS

Housing Development Finance Corporation Ltd has on February 27, 2012, allotted 4,06,425 equity shares of Rs. 2 each, pursuant to exercise of stock options by certain employees.

Post the above allotment, the paid-up equity share capital of the Corporation would stand at Rs. 295,06,62,270 consisting of 147,53,31,135 equity shares of Rs. 2 each.

The Housing Development Finance Corporation Ltd stock closed the day at Rs.663.75, down by Rs.12.45 or 1.84%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.679.95 and low of Rs.660.

The total traded quantity was 1.37 lakhs compared to 2 week average of 5.44 lakhs.
