RPG Cables raises funds through issue of securities at Rs.46.30

RPG Cables Ltd has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on March 30, 2007, has transacted the following:

1. Allotment of 500 convertible debentures of Rs 5,65,000/- each aggregating to Rs 28,25,00,000/- to Deutsche Bank, AG Hong Kong Branch, to be converted into 61,01,511 equity shares of Rs 10/- each at a price of Rs 46.30 per share (inclusive of premium of Rs 36.30 per share).

2. Allotment of 5,00,000 equity shares of Rs 10/- each at a price of Rs 46.30 per share (inclusive of premium of Rs 36.30 per share) to Yield Investments Pvt Ltd and 5,00,000 equity shares of Rs 10/- each at a price of Rs 46.30 per share (inclusive of premium of Rs 36.30 per share to Trade Apartments Ltd.

3. Allotment of 16,66,750 warrants of Rs 46.30 per share to be converted into equity shares of Rs 10/- each at a price of Rs 46.30 per share (inclusive of premium of Rs 36.30 per share) to Yield Investments Pvt Ltd and Allotment of 16,66,750 warrants of Rs 46.30 per share to be converted into equity shares of Rs 10/- each at a price of Rs 46.30 per share (inclusive of premium of Rs 36.30 per share) to Trade Apartments Ltd.
