Hindustan Motors Updates on striking workers

With reference to the earlier announcement dated March 21, 2007, Hindustan Motors Ltd has announced that there were significant disturbances in front of the factory main gate on March 28, 2007, which understandably had an adverse impact. By about 6:30 PM the Company was able to obtain a High Court Order Specifically directing restoration of law and order, and ensuring free movement of people and material.

Following the High Court Order the situation has improved and the attendance is expected to improve over the next few days.
