Wire & Wireless India decides to withdraw fund raising proposal

With reference to the earlier announcement dated March 21, 2007 regarding Outcome of Board Meeting, Wire & Wireless India Ltd has announced that the Board of Directors at its meeting continued on March 23, 2007 has deliberated upon the option of issue of shares on a right basis and decided not to go ahead with a rights issue for the moment and instead consider alternate options for raising funds.
