Idea Cellular allots 372400 Equity Shares

Idea Cellular Ltd has announced that the ESOS Compensation Committee vide its circular resolution dated February 25, 2010, has allotted 3,72,400 Equity Shares of Rs. 10/- each to the Option Grantees, pursuant to the exercise of Stock Options under the Company's Employee Stock Option Scheme, 2006 (ESOS-2006).

Further the Company has noted that, the Equity Share Capital of the Company, post the said allotment, stands increased to 3,100,467,609 equity shares of Rs. 10/- each aggregating to Rs. 31,004,676,090/-.

The stock closed the day at Rs.60.85, up by Rs.1.15 or 1.93%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.61.60 and low of Rs.58.50.

The total traded quantity was 1793784 compared to 2 week average of 551309.
