Mercator Lines Updates on MOU by its subsidiary

With reference to the earlier announcement dated October 30, 2006 regarding execution of Memorandum of Agreement by the Company's Singapore based wholly owned subsidiary for acquiring 2 Nos. New built Dry Bulk geared Kamsarmax vessels, Mercator Lines Ltd has announced that the Company's subsidiary has taken delivery of one of such newly built Kamsarmax vessel of about 84,000 DWT.
