Acutaas Chemicals Reports 59.1% YoY Revenue Growth in Q1 FY27; Net Profit Rises 70.4% to ₹74.99 Crore

Specialty chemical manufacturer Acutaas Chemicals Limited (formerly known as Ami Organics Limited; BSE: 543349, NSE: AMIORG; CIN: L24100GJ2007PLC051093) has announced its consolidated unaudited financial results for the first quarter ended June 30, 2026 (Q1 FY27).

The company reported strong top-line growth, with consolidated revenue from operations surging 59.1% year-on-year (YoY) to ₹329.67 crore (₹32,967.48 lakh), up from ₹207.24 crore in Q1 FY26. Consolidated Profit After Tax (PAT) expanded by 70.4% YoY to ₹74.99 crore (₹7,499.27 lakh), compared to ₹44.01 crore in Q1 FY26.

Financial Performance Summary

Acutaas Chemicals delivered sustained profit expansion during the quarter across key operational lines:

Revenue from Operations: Stood at ₹32,967.48 lakh (₹329.67 crore), compared to ₹20,723.72 lakh in Q1 FY26 and ₹43,275.05 lakh in Q4 FY26. Full-year FY26 revenue was ₹133,936.68 lakh.

Other Income: Reached ₹180.13 lakh, down from ₹1,111.10 lakh in Q4 FY26 and ₹1,593.77 lakh in Q1 FY26.

Total Income: Combined income for Q1 FY27 aggregated ₹33,147.61 lakh (₹331.48 crore), up 48.5% YoY from ₹22,317.49 lakh in Q1 FY26.

Profit Before Tax (PBT): Climbed 78.9% YoY to ₹10,391.01 lakh (₹103.91 crore), compared to ₹5,807.57 lakh in Q1 FY26 and ₹18,380.17 lakh in Q4 FY26.

Tax Expenses: Totaled ₹2,891.74 lakh, comprising ₹2,725.60 lakh in current tax and ₹166.14 lakh in deferred tax.

Net Profit (PAT): Came in at ₹7,499.27 lakh (₹74.99 crore), delivering a Basic EPS of ₹9.07 per equity share (face value ₹5/- each), compared to ₹5.41 per share in Q1 FY26 and ₹16.09 in Q4 FY26.

Total Comprehensive Income: Stood at ₹7,283.27 lakh for the quarter, after accounting for negative foreign currency translation impact of ₹209.36 lakh within Other Comprehensive Income (OCI).

Profit Attribution & Ownership Split

Profit Attributable to Owners of the Company: Stood at ₹7,426.01 lakh (₹74.26 crore) for Q1 FY27, up from ₹4,429.34 lakh in Q1 FY26.

Non-Controlling Interest (NCI): Accounted for ₹73.26 lakh in PAT during the quarter.

Operating Expenditure Breakdown

Total expenses for Q1 FY27 amounted to ₹22,756.60 lakh (₹227.57 crore), compared to ₹16,509.92 lakh in Q1 FY26 and ₹26,005.98 lakh in Q4 FY26.

Key expense components included:

Cost of Materials Consumed: Accounted for ₹16,577.06 lakh, up from ₹10,406.01 lakh in Q1 FY26.

Changes in Inventories (Finished Goods/WIP): Inventory adjustment stood at -₹2,701.29 lakh.

Employee Benefits Expense: Formed ₹3,956.70 lakh, compared to ₹2,507.33 lakh in Q1 FY26.

Other Expenses: Stood at ₹3,827.90 lakh, compared to ₹3,436.63 lakh in Q1 FY26.

Depreciation & Amortization Expense: Totaled ₹982.13 lakh, compared to ₹813.08 lakh in Q1 FY26.

Finance Costs: Stood at ₹114.10 lakh, compared to ₹63.85 lakh in Q1 FY26.

Capital Structure

As of June 30, 2026, the paid-up equity share capital of Acutaas Chemicals Limited stood at ₹4,093.56 lakh (comprising fully paid equity shares of face value ₹5/- each). Other equity stood at ₹161,262.54 lakh (₹1,612.63 crore) for full-year FY26.
