Dolphin Offshore Enterprises Reports 31% Rise in Q1 FY27 Net Profit to ₹14.81 Crore; Revenue Surges 161% YoY to ₹42.85 Crore

Offshore engineering and maritime services provider Dolphin Offshore Enterprises (India) Limited (BSE: 522261, NSE: DOLPHIN) released its consolidated unaudited financial results for the first quarter ended June 30, 2026 (Q1 FY27). Driven by strong execution and operational momentum in its core marine operations, the company posted a 160.57% year-on-year (YoY) jump in operating revenue alongside a 30.72% increase in net profit.

Executive Financial Highlights

Revenue from Operations: Surged to ₹42.85 crore (₹4,284.65 lakh) in Q1 FY27, up 160.57% YoY from ₹16.44 crore (₹1,644.30 lakh) recorded in Q1 FY26. Sequentially, revenue stood at ₹45.36 crore in Q4 FY26.

Total Income: Reached ₹42.88 crore (₹4,288.02 lakh) for the quarter, inclusive of ₹3.37 lakh in other income, compared to ₹16.45 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal.

Profit Before Tax (PBT): Expanded by 52.56% YoY to ₹16.49 crore (₹1,649.01 lakh), up from ₹10.81 crore in Q1 FY26 and ₹14.15 crore in Q4 FY26.

Profit After Tax (PAT): Grew 30.72% YoY to ₹14.81 crore (₹1,481.41 lakh), compared to ₹11.33 crore in Q1 FY26.

Total Comprehensive Income: Came in at ₹14.71 crore (₹1,471.21 lakh) after accounting for a movement of ₹10.20 lakh in foreign currency translation loss.

Earnings Per Share (EPS): Basic and diluted EPS improved to ₹3.70 per equity share (face value ₹1/- each), up from ₹2.83 in Q1 FY26.

Operating & Expense Structure

Total consolidated expenditure for Q1 FY27 stood at ₹26.39 crore (₹2,639.01 lakh), compared to ₹5.64 crore in Q1 FY26 and ₹42.88 crore in Q4 FY26, reflecting scaled operations. The key expense drivers included:

Cost of Materials Consumed / Operating Expenses: Stood at ₹10.33 crore (₹1,033.47 lakh), compared to ₹1.50 lakh in Q1 FY26.

Other Expenses: Totaled ₹6.95 crore (₹694.73 lakh), up from ₹73.30 lakh in Q1 FY26.

Depreciation & Amortization: Reached ₹4.89 crore (₹488.89 lakh), reflecting asset deployment compared to ₹2.34 crore in Q1 FY26.

Finance Costs: Stood at ₹3.96 crore (₹396.17 lakh) against ₹2.47 crore in Q1 FY26.

Employee Benefits Expense: Reported at ₹25.75 lakh, compared to ₹7.64 lakh in the year-ago period.

Tax Provision & Share Capital

Total tax expense for the quarter was ₹1.68 crore (₹167.60 lakh), which comprised a current tax provision of ₹1.36 crore (₹135.55 lakh) and a deferred tax charge of ₹32.05 lakh. This compares to a net tax credit of ₹52.36 lakh in Q1 FY26.

The entire net profit of ₹14.81 crore was attributable to the owners of the company. Paid-up equity share capital remained steady at ₹4.00 crore (₹400.05 lakh), comprising equity shares with a face value of ₹1/- each. Other equity as of the last audited balance sheet date stood at ₹349.43 crore.

Shares of Dolphin Offshore Enterprises India Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 395.65 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 377.00. The total number of shares traded during the day was 1345 in over 133 trades.
