Container Corporation Q3 net profit at Rs.165.64 Crores, announces 110% interim dividend

Container Corporation of India Ltd has announced the following Unaudited results for the quarter ended December 31, 2006:

The Company has posted a net profit of Rs 1656.40 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2006 as compared to Rs 1368.10 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2005. Total Income has increased from Rs 6474.10 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2005 to Rs 7677.10 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2006.

The company has declared an Interim Dividend @ 110% (excluding dividend tax) of the paid-up Equity Share Capital of the Company.

Further the Company has informed that, February 01, 2007 has been fixed as the Record Date for the purpose of payment of interim dividend. The dividend will be paid on or after February 05, 2007.
