Hindustan Unilever allots 290600 equity shares

Hindustan Unilever Ltd has announced that the Committee of the Board, at its meeting held on August 21, 2009, has allotted 2,90,600 Equity Shares of Re 1/- each under ESOP.

Therefore, the paid-up capital of the Company has increased to 218,08,30,660 shares & the issued capital has increased to 221,10,66,432 shares.

The stock was trading at Rs.254.60, down by Rs.2.45 or 0.95%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.256.50 and low of Rs.253.15.

The total traded quantity was 54700 compared to 2 week average of 566628.
