India Cements allots 70000 Equity Shares

India Cements Ltd has announced that the Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on July 07, 2009, has allotted 70,000 Equity Shares of Rs 10/- each fully paid-up at a premium of Rs 40/- per share to the employees who have exercised their stock options under ICL ESOS, 2006.

Consequently, the Paid-up Equity Share Capital of the Company has gone up from Rs 282.46 crores to Rs 282.53 crores.

The stock closed the day at Rs.139.90, down by Rs.0.20 or 0.14%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.146.25 and low of Rs.138.50.

The total traded quantity was 415239 compared to 2 week average of 427753.
